Terms of Service

By engaging S and S Moving Services Inc. for any moving-related service, you agree to the following terms.

Estimates

All quotes and estimates are based on the information you provide. Final pricing is subject to change based on actual conditions on move day, including additional items, stairs, long carries, or extended distances.

Liability & Damage Claims

Our standard liability covers items at the rate established by Louisiana intrastate moving regulations. Additional valuation coverage is available upon request. Damage claims must be submitted in writing within 9 months of delivery. We are not liable for items packed by the customer, items of extraordinary value not disclosed, or pre-existing damage.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for ensuring access to both origin and destination locations, securing parking for moving trucks, and disclosing any items of extraordinary value or hazardous materials.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled move are free of charge. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee. Deposits are non-refundable for moves cancelled within 24 hours.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, credit cards, and approved financing. A deposit may be required to secure your move date.

Scheduling

We make every effort to arrive within the agreed-upon time window. Weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause delays. We will notify you promptly of any schedule changes.
